Edward J. Lizak

Edward J. Lizak, 94, passed away at home on Thursday, May 23, 2024. He was born in Westfield, MA to the late John and Katherine (Kaczowka) Lizak. He worked as a shipping clerk for the former Old Colony Envelope Company for over 40 years. He was a longtime communicant of Holy Trinity Church, Westfield and enjoyed working in his yard and garden and loved vacationing at Hampton Beach. He is survived by his niece Joanne Pawlishen and her husband David of Westfield and nephew Kenneth Malawa and his wife Wendy Hilton Head, SC. And great nieces, Karen Gomez, Jenny, Finnie and Amy Leahy. He was predeceased by a brother Stephen Lizak and a sister Sophie Malawa. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 10:30AM in Holy Trinity Church, 335 Elm St. Westfield, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Church, 203 Southampton Rd. Westfield. A visiting hour will be prior to the Mass from 9-10AM in the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA.  Donations in Edward’s name may be directed to Holy Trinity Church, 335 Elm St. Westfield, MA 01085. www.firtionadams.com
