Elizabeth G. (Betty) Adams 79 Passed away into the arms of God peacefully on April 25th at Heritage Hall South, Agawam Ma surrounded by her devoted family. She was born in Albany Ny on April 3rd 1944 to William G and Loretta B (Lockskin) Munro. She grew up in Colonie Ny and attended Colonie Central Highschool. In 1972 she made the move to Westfield with her family. She worked at the Donut Shop in Westfield for several years and then at Berkshire County Arc for 18 years retiring in 2007. She was a faithful member of The Episcopal Church of Atonement in Westfield for 51 years. She loved working with the younger children and she was well known for her coffee hour after the service on Sunday mornings. She cherished spending time with her family and traveling with her husband. Elizabeth had a big heart and loved many and was loved by many in return. She was predeceased by a daughter Cyndi at birth. Her parents William G and Loretta B Munro. Her sisters Margaret Hollingsworth, Jean Benvenuti, Joan Preville and Georgianna Diehl and her son-in-law Edward Crowley. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years John Q Adams. Her devoted daughters Bonnie S Adams and Jodi L Adams of Westfield and Robyn M Adams and her wife (Kathy Esposito) of Arlington Tn. And her Goddaughters Tammy Pacenza, Marcy M Diehl and her daughter Miranda Rose Diehl. And many other nieces and nephews along with many honorary children and grandchildren. We would like to thank the staff of Heritage Dialysis and Heritage Hall South for the care they provided for the last year. And Hospice of Western and Central Ma for their support during this time. The funeral for Elizabeth will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 10:30AM from Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Followed by her funeral liturgy at 11:30AM in The Episcopal Church of Atonement, Court St. Westfield. Burial will take place at 1PM in Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. The visiting hours for Elizabeth will be Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 4-7PM in the funeral home.
