Francis J Murphy

Francis J. Murphy, born on May 11, 1936, in Westfield, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine Murphy, and brother of the late William Murphy. Francis built a long and respected career as an electrician, working with Clark & Falcetti for 20 years. He later served as Director of Engineering, overseeing Security and Biomedical departments at Noble Hospital for another 20 years. His dedication, work ethic, and steady presence made him a trusted colleague and friend to many. Francis married the love of his life, Ruth Blood, and together they shared 68 wonderful years. They traveled through life side by side, creating countless memories with their family. He leaves behind his sister, Elizabeth Johnson; his children, Joseph (Peg) Murphy, Jamie (Ann) Murphy, Kathleen Murphy, and Mary Beth Wood, and his beloved grandchildren Ryan Murphy, Christopher Murphy, and Valerie Brown. Francis will be remembered for his kindness, his quiet strength, and the deep devotion he had to his family. His services will be private and there will be no calling hours. Firtionadams.com
