Jean passed to Heaven on February 1, 2021. She was born in Hazardville, CT to Jennie and John Wlotkowski on August 7, 1921, and attended local schools. She met Edward Yefko from Westfield, MA and they were married on July 15, 1944. She was predeceased by Edward in 2005. Jean passed to Heaven on February 1, 2021. She was born in Hazardville, CT to Jennie and John Wlotkowski on August 7, 1921, and attended local schools. She met Edward Yefko from Westfield, MA and they were married on July 15, 1944. She was predeceased by Edward in 2005. Also predeceased by her brothers John and Joseph and sisters Celia Skehan, Helen Bednarz and Irene Bielonko. Jean worked during WWII at Pratt and Whitney where she was commended for excellence for her work in a local newspaper. She later worked for the Westfield School Lunch Program. She leaves her beloved children Janice, and Nancy of Westfield and E. Michael of Exeter, RI and his partner Jody Lisberger. She also leaves beloved granddaughter Yin Yefko of Providence, RI, and many nieces and nephews. Jean was an excellent homemaker and cook. She loved gardening and reading in her younger years. Her only regret was that she could no longer mow her lawn, which she did until her late eighties. Jean loved her home and yard. There will be a private funeral for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association. Due to COVID-19, a memorial celebration will be held in the spring. Firtionadams.com
