I. Jane (Conner) St. Sauveur

I.Jane (Conner) St. Sauveur, 90, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 at home. She was born in Haverhill, MA to the late William C. and Marjorie A. (Eaton) Conner and was a 1950 graduate of Classical High School. She received an Associate’s Degree in Developmental Disabilities from Holyoke Community College in 1988, a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Elms College in 1990 and received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University in 1991. Following her Master’s Degree, she was employed by Ring Ridgewood Nursing Center as the Director of Social Services and then for Renaissance Manor Nursing Home as a Medical Social Worker. Jane was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Westfield and a member of the church choir. Additionally, she was a member of the Business and Professional Women, Western Mass Gardeners, International Association of Reiki Professionals, National Guild of Hypnotist, National Association of Social Workers, Storrowton Yuletide Committee and a longtime volunteer at the Cancer House of Hope. Sadly, Jane was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Edward V. St. Sauveur, a daughter Nancy Cormier and four brothers, Robert Conner, William Conner, Jr. James Conner and Stephen Conner. She is survived by her loving children, Sharen Senecal of Feeding Hills, Kenneth St. Sauveur and his wife Susanne of Southwick, Alan St. Sauveur of West Springfield, Stuart St. Sauveur of Westfield, James St. Sauveur of Portsmouth, NH, Paul St. Sauveur and his wife Susan of Westfield, and Matthew St. Sauveur and his wife Jennifer of Westfield and her brothers, Richard Conner and his wife Goldie of Ocean Springs, MS, and Douglas Conner of West Springfield and was Nana to her cherished nineteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 9:30 AM from the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield, followed by a mass at 10:30 AM in St. Mary’s Church, Bartlett St. Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southampton Rd. Westfield, MA 01085.
