Janet L Boyden

On January 21, 2022, Janet L Boyden passed away peacefully at Holyoke Health Care Center. She was a lifelong resident of Russell, MA. She enjoyed golfing with her husband and lifelong friends. She also loved summers up at Lake Seymour in Vermont, where she would always be playing solitaire or looking out the window at the hummingbirds and loons in the lake. She also enjoyed her walks in Vermont to go visit with the horses and also at home. She was a dedicated Catholic who went to church every Sunday. She enjoyed going for long car rides with her husband where she would sing any song that was on the radio as she looked out the window. Even her time at Holyoke Health Care Center you could catch her humming to a song and moving her hands and feet to the beat. Janet was a big-time sweets person, even up until she passed. She loved going to get the large chocolate chip cookies from Outlook Farm. She is predeceased by the love of her life Bill Boyden, her two sons James and Brian Boyden and her sister Jackie Pappas. Janet leaves behind her son David Boyden, two daughter-in-law’s, three grandsons, five granddaughters and two great-grandsons. A special thank you to the care givers at Holyoke Health Care Center for taking such good care of Janet in her time of need. The family is going to have a private funeral on a later date.
