Jeffrey Vanden-Bulcke, resident of Westfield, MA, died peacefully in his home on May 15, 2021 at the age of 69.
Jeff was born and raised in Mount Kisco, NY on December 19, 1951. Graduating from Yorktown Heights high school. Jeff came to western mass to go to college, Western New England University, where he learned he was much better suited as a jack-of-all trades. Jeff worked at Franconia Golf course in Springfield, Ma, as a Ground Forman. Jeff married Jaqueline Sullivan, on May 31, 1980 in the backyard of their current house in Westfield. His lifelong passion was being a mechanic and fixing and racing Corvairs. As a member of the CART, CVCC, and NECC Racing groups, he would spend summers at the track racing on his team, the Blues Brothers, and making memories with his friends. Jeff had lots of knowledge of, not only of cars, but planes, movies, tv shows, F1 racing, and his girls, the UCONN Huskies women’s basketball team. In recent years, Jeff loved calling old friends from high school, and just about anyone who would talk on the phone with him. Jeff also had a love of dogs, well one type of dog, Belgian Sheepdogs.
Jeff is survived by his wife; Jaqueline Sullivan; his children, Scott Vanden-Bulcke and Lauren LeClair, her husband Daniel LeClair and granddaughter Lydia LeClair; his sister, Lynne Libuha and niece Lisa Mullins and husband David Mullins, and children, Finn Mullis, and Lola Mullins. He is predeceased by his mother Lila (Madley)Vande-Bulcke and his father Auguste (Van) Vanden-Bulcke; and his three dogs, Jake, Seca, and Vita.
