Jennie Hezik, 89, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Care One Nursing facility in Northampton, while in hospice care. Jennie was born in Central Falls, Rhode Island to her parents the late Stanley and Frances (Kowalski) Michalski. Jennie Hezik, 89, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Care One Nursing facility in Northampton, while in hospice care. Jennie was born in Central Falls, Rhode Island to her parents the late Stanley and Frances (Kowalski) Michalski. She was the youngest of seven siblings, Jennie was predeceased by her husband John Stanley Hezik in May of 2016. Jennie met the love of her life John at a Polish dance in 1950. They fell in love and were married in September 1951. They started out their life in Northampton then moved to Westfield. They were married for 65 wonderful years. Jennie was a beloved mother as well as a devoted grandmother and great grandmother who was always there for her family. Jennie leaves behind her three loving daughters, Sandra Hezik and Lawrence Day of Southampton, Joanne and her husband Stanley Puc of Westhampton, and Johnna and her husband Arthur Owen III of Westfield. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband Brian Hackworth, John Puc, Cynthia Hezik, Joe Puc and his fiancée, Donald Lacroix, Brittany and her husband Daniel Ross, Arthur Owen IV and Katherine Schreiner, Ashlee Owen and her fiancée, Thomas Allen, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A private funeral will be held on Saturday February 13, 2021 at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service.
