Joann M. (Chrzanowski) Bannish passed away peacefully at Baystate Noble Hospital. She was born in Westfield to the late Joseph and Helen (Wrobleski) Chrzanowski. Joann worked for many years as a bank teller at various local banks. Joann and her husband owned Vic’s Landscaping in Westfield for many years. She was predeceased by her husband Victor Bannish in 2001. She leaves her sister, Marie Heath; her in-laws, Veronica Wojcik, Ruth Aborjaily, Martin Bannish, Tom Bannish, Jeffery Bannish, Marey Bannish, and Diane Sutton; as well as many nieces and nephews. Calling hours for Joann will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 9:00–10:00 AM at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph’s National Catholic Church, Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Westfield.
