Jonathan E. Miller

Jonathan Edward Miller, 40, lovingly known as “Miller” or “John T,” passed away at home on October 23, 2025.

He was born on June 16, 1985, was a lifelong resident of this city, and also spent time living in Florida.

He filled his days with witty banter, hard work, and a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys. He was a proud member of the Westfield High School Band, where he took after his father and played the trombone.

 A dedicated worker, he put care and effort into everything he did.

He loved to hike, explore, play video games and spend time with his friends. Always finding joy in good company and the beauty of nature.

Whether reading a good book, sharing a laugh, or taking in a quiet moment outside, Jon had a way of making each moment have meaning.

He leaves his loving mother, Karen Brettman; his father and stepmother, Bertram and Donna Miller, all of Westfield; his brother, Aaron Miller and fiance, Lisa Kozic, of Westfield; his sister, Jennifer and husband, Jose Herrera of Mt. Airy, MD; a sister, Kelly Miller Romani and her husband, William Romani of Westfield;  five nephews, AJ and Jordan Herrera, Truman Miller, Bronson and Dean Romani and a niece, Lorelei Romani, who all adored their uncle Jon. He was preceded in death by his sister, Bess Miller.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Firtion Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street, Westfield with a service at 6PM in the funeral home.
