Josephine F. (Bertolino) Kotowski, 98, of Westfield passed away on April 26, 2020. She was the daughter of Emilio and Anna (Danek) Bertoloino. Josie was a retired nurse and spent many winters in Fl. There she had an active life with her many friends playing golf, shuffleboard and cards. But her greatest joy was her home in Westfield having family and friends gather for picnics under the grape arbor and swimming at her pond. She had a beautiful summer flower garden and enjoyed giving bouquets away. She was predeceased by her husband Alexander, her son Daniel, and sisters Emilia Brzoska, Stella Pihl and Florianna Case. She leaves her sons, Alexander (Sherrill) Coventry, CT., Michael (Frances) Canterbury, CT., daughter-in-law Gail, Guilford, CT., James (Donna) Westfield, MA and daughter Faith Carpenter (Donald) Blandford, MA. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A donation in her memory may be made to Baystate Hospice, 30 Capital Dr. West Springfield, MA 01089, to whom we extend our warmest thanks for their comforting care.
