Judith A. (Greany) Ancelli

Judith Anne Ancelli passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 in Charlotte, NC. She was born on December 30, 1951 to Ellen and Thomas Greany formerly at 41 Cobb Ave. Chicopee, Mass. Judy graduated from Chicopee High School Class of 1970 and was a graduate of Holyoke Community College where she earned an Associate’s degree and a graduate of AIC College with a Bachelor's Degree in accounting and finance. She was married to Peter Ancelli on October 21, 1972. Judy worked at Monarch Life insurance Company, Mass Mutual Life Insurance Co. of Springfield Mass and of Charlotte, NC. and then to Merck Drug Co. of Charlotte, NC. where she was an accountant. Judy also was co-owner of Peterjohns Gourmet Ice Cream in Feeding Hills, Mass. Judy became a resident of Charlotte NC. in 2002 while working for Mass Mutual in Charlotte. Judy had a passion for needle work, quilting, and sewing, as well as a love of animals. Her loving husband of 52 years is a resident of Cambridge NY.  There will be a funeral on Saturday, November 2nd with a private viewing for immediate family only at Firtion Adams Funeral Service in Westfield, MA. A graveside service will be held at 12:30PM in St. Mary's Cemetery, 203 Southampton Rd. Westfield, Mass.  No flowers please, but a donation to your favorite animal rescue in Judy's name would make Judy very happy knowing that you care. www.firtionadams.com
