June E (D'Alessio) Sugalski

June E, (D’Alessio) Sugalski, 94, died Friday, January 3, 2025 in a local nursing home. She was born in Westfield on June 7, 1930 to the late Charles and Mary (Jedziniak) D’Alessio. She grew up in Westfield and was a 1948 graduate of Westfield High School. She worked at Old Colony Envelope where she met the love of her life Alvin and were married in 1956. They have been married for 68 years. She also worked at Columbia Bicycle. Also known as Junebug to Alvin and Bugsey to Mark. June loved to draw and was a great artist, she also loved cooking, singing, crossword puzzles, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Foxwoods was her bingo of choice. June leaves her children Paul Sugalski of California, Jackie Lynch and Robert of Maryland, Pam O’Connell and Mark Solomone of Longmeadow. Her grandchildren Ryan, A.J. O’Connell, Chris Lynch, Dylan Griffith and Parker Solomone. She also leaves a sister and nieces and nephews. June was predeceased by her son Michael in 1980 and her siblings Joseph and Chicky D’Alessio and Phyllis Baacke. Funeral services will be held in the spring. Firtionadams.com
