Lynn E. (Rea) Rea

Lynn E. Rea, 66, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Holyoke, MA to Elizabeth J. (Critcher) Rea and the late Robert L. Rea. She attended Westfield Schools, the MacDuffie School for Girls and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration for Bryant College. Lynn was employed by Ballard Engineering in Agawam and for Plastic Packaging in West Springfield before working for over 36 years heading the Retirement Board for the City of Westfield retiring on December 29, 2018. She loved to play tennis and to swim, she traveled and spent a lot of time on Cape Cod with her parents. Additionally she was a member of First Congregational Church in Westfield. She was predeceased by her father, Robert L. Rea on December 29, 2021 and is survived by her mother Elizabeth J. Rea of Westfield. A Graveside service for Lynn will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 1PM in Pine Hill Cemetery, Western Ave. Westfield. Donations in Lynn’s name may be directed to any local animal hospital or shelter you prefer.
