Lynn L Russell

On Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021, Lynn L. Russell the best big sister anyone could ask for passed peacefully with her family by her side. Lynn was 76 years young and lived a very fulfilling life. Her social calendar was filled with events, book club meetings, and visits with her numerous friends. Lynn graduated from both Wayland High School and Springfield College and never stopped learning. She went on to earn two Master’s. After living in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Maryland she ended up back in the Springfield area and became a Teacher in the Springfield School system before retiring. Lynn is the daughter of Raymond J. Russell and Doris H. Russell (Twombley). Lynn leaves her two sisters, Judith Russell from Cambridge MA, and Amy Russell from Dover NH and a niece Chelsea Mower of Malden MA. She also had three brothers Paul Russell and his wife Ellen from Framingham MA, Steven Russell and his wife Patricia from Bolton, Raymond (Andy) Russell and his companion Jane Foster from Grafton MA, and Dana Russell from Brookline MA. In lieu of Flowers please donate to your favorite charity in Lynn’s name. She gave to many organizations and would be very pleased to know that you did as well.
