It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret E. Osowski (Peggy) on April 27th, at home. Peggy was born on January 8th, 1955, in Northampton, MA to John and Janice Sullivan.
She and her loving husband, David, raised their two children, Heather Keier and Nathan Osowski, in Westfield, MA.
Peggy was a dedicated worker at Dirats Laboratories for 45 years. She worked alongside many of her family members there. Her co-workers became family to her where many of them spent most of the summer weekends at their campground in Charlemont, MA enjoying camp side food, parties, and load of laughs.
Peggy loved shopping and was always up for bargain consignment shopping with her best and lifelong friend, Valerie Krupa, who was truly another sister to her. Peggy was the warmest, most loving, and generous person there was. She was famous for her “Sullivan gift of gab” and could easily fire off 20 questions without stopping for a breath. She so enjoyed visiting with her dad and sister on Sunday’s where they enjoyed a nice lunch and ended the day with scratch tickets. Always waiting for the “big win”. She will be deeply missed and may her beautiful spirit live in us all forever.
Peggy was predeceased by her husband David and her mom Janice. In addition to her two children, Nathan Osowski and Heather Keier and her companion Jim Leary (ch. Payge & Parris), she leaves her loving father, John D Sullivan, her brother John P Sullivan (Debbie), sisters Sharon Dearborn (Dan) and Patti Tysz, along with her grandchildren, Michael and Makayla Keier and great grandchild Owsley Bishop and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be at Firtion Adams Funeral home at 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA on Monday, May 4th between 4pm – 7pm. A ceremony at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery will take place at 9 am Tuesday, May 5th, where she will rest with her husband David E. Osowski.
