Margaret L Shay

Margaret "Peggy" Shay 66, left this world suddenly on Saturday October 28, 2023. Peggy was born August 27, 1957 to Doris (Iserman) Shay and the late George "Moe" Shay and was a graduate of Westfield High School in 1975. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her children, reading, crafting, going on whale watches, traveling adventures with her sister Lisa. Her greatest joy in life were her grandchildren, all of whom she was extremely proud of. Peggy was always willing to lend a helping hand, provide a place to lay your head, a warm meal, a listening ear or simply a big hug. She will be sadly missed by her mother Doris; her children Kevin Shay, Heidi Shay and Keri Rivas; her grandchildren Michael Rodriguez, Elysia Recor, Mikeila and Melani Maysonet, Eliondres Quinones, Maleah and Melody Rivas, Savannah, Hailey, Liana and Jayde Shay; her great grandchildren Ethan, Summer and IslaMarie; her sisters Lisa Shay and Audrey Ochoa; six nephews, three aunts, an uncle and numerous cousins. Also included is a close family friend Sandra Durett who was like a daughter to her. Peggy's memorial service will be held at Central Baptist Church in Westfield on Friday, November 3rd at 4pm.
