Marie E. (Daley) Ferrara

Marie grew up in East Boston, MA, daughter of John Bernard and Mary Emma (Boitano) Daley, sister of the late Anna (Daley) Duran and the late Helen (Daley) Laundry and lived for 74 years on Homer Ave. in Cambridge, MA. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph Ferrara in 2018. She leaves her daughter Elisa Ferrara-Jordan, son-in-law Thomas M. Jordan of Longmeadow, MA, grandsons Jonathan Jordan and wife Estelle, great grandchildren Miles and Sophie Jordan, and grandsons Justin Jordan and Jason Jordan, all of Longmeadow; daughter Mia Ferrara and granddaughters Adrianna Ferrara and Ashley Ferrara all of Cambridge, MA; and her daughter Cara Ferrara Ingraham and son-in-law Michael S. Ingraham of Southampton, MA and granddaughter Amanda Ferrara and spouse Matthew Ferrara, with great grandchildren Reya and Leo Ferrara of Milton, MA. 

She began her working life as a call operator at Bell Atlantic Telephone Company, but soon became deeply dedicated to her role as wife, mother and grandmother. She nurtured everyone and gave with grace and generosity. She also had a noted sense of humor that brought laughter to everyone. 
Whether it was with a meal, a dish of homemade Italian cookies or other sweet treat, a call or a warm hug, she took care of anyone who needed or wanted it with her special touch. We have been enriched with her unconditional love and will carry her with us forever. A private internment will be held at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Watertown, MA at a later date. www.firtionadams.com
