Mary J (Zarichak) Petrucelli

Mary Jane (Mae) Petrucelli passed away on May 11, 2023 in a local nursing home. She was born in Westfield on March 25, 1922 to the late Cyril P. and Juliana (Tropp) Zarichak. She attended local schools and was a 1940 graduate of Westfield High School. Mary worked in the office of Stanley Home Products for 7 years and was the secretary at Westfied Whip Mfg. for 25 years and retired in 1984. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church and was a member of the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary. She was pre-deceased by her husband Albert C. Petrucelli in 2009. She leaves her son James and his wife Patricia, her grandson Andrew Petrucelli, sister in-law Shirley Zarichak, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was pre-deceased by her siblings Walter, Paul, Thomas and Helen Zarichak. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 17th at 10 am in the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the service at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9-10 am.
