Melanie C. Bak

Melanie Christine Bak, 65, of Westfield, MA passed away peacefully on July 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in Vermont, a place she loved.  Melanie was born on November 9, 1958 in Westfield, MA (Noble Hospital), the daughter of Feliks Bak and Stefanie Baginski.  Melanie graduated from Westfield High School in 1976, and later obtained her associates degree from Porter and Chester Institute in 1996.  Melanie started working at Digital in Westfield after graduating high school, working there until it closed in 1993. After earning her associates degree, she began working at Noble Hospital where she continued to work until her passing.  Melanie especially loved gardening, the Holidays, going shopping, Dave's homemade margaritas, and spending time on the lake at camp in St. Albans, VT with family, friends, and the dogs.  Remaining to cherish Melanie's memory are her partner of 45 years, David Demers; her children Joshua Bak (Andrea Vann), Carl Bak and Daniel Bak; and dog, Cooper.  Preceding Melanie's death are her parents, Feliks and Stefanie; and her sister, Felicia.  Calling hours will be held at Firtion Adams Funeral Home in Westfield, MA on Saturday July 27, 2024 from 2pm-5pm. www.firtionadams.com
