Merilyn F. (Kerlin) Stevens

Westfield-Merilyn Faye (Kerlin) Stevens, 90, died Saturday, August 16, 2025 in Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Taylor, Texas on July 4, 1935 to the late Leonard and Beatrice (Schwartz) Kerlin. She moved to Westfield in the 1950’s. She worked at Digital Equipment for many years and retired in 1991. She loved the outdoors riding her mule into the woods with her BB Gun and Bible. While Looking and taking pictures of deer and wild turkeys. She also fed her birds especially the hummers and Orioles. She adored all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren known to them as Nina, spending many vacations together in Rockport.  Known as Mersie to many friends she touched their hearts with love and laughter. Marilyn was pre-deceased by her husband’s Andy Tobias and Sunny Stevens. She leaves her children Kimberly Sorel and her husband William and Andrew Tobias and his wife Pam, her grandchildren Meghan Sorel, Ashley Toney, Jeremy Sorel, Sarah Tobias, Emily Tobias, and Abby Tobias, her great-grandchildren August Sorel, Madeline Toney, Oliver Toney and Finley. She also pre-deceased by her brother Milton Kerlin and her sister Delores Locklin. In her memory, share the light, share Jesus and above all love one another.
