Michael J. Kelly

Michael J. Kelly, 66 was summoned home, with his loving family by his side on November 18, 2022 at Colley Dickinson Hospital, Northampton. He was born in Holyoke to the late William and Eleanor (Whalley) Kelly. Michael worked in maintenance for Howard Johnson’s and most recently for Marriott Retirement Community in Tampa, FL. His hobbies included cooking, outdoors, fishing, camping, spending time with his family and music, which started when he was in the high school band. Michael will be remembered for his truly unique humor and wit. He spent most of his life in Westfield and the Western Mass area. He spent several years in the Tampa, FL region, where he took devoted care of his mother in the last ten years of her life. Besides his parents, Michael was predeceased by two sisters, Pamela Goguen and Patricia Scanlon. He is survived by his siblings, Peggy Goguen of North Adams, Brian Kelly of North Adams, Kathleen Kelly of Westfield and Bonnie O’Clair and her husband Sean of Blandford and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
