Michael E. Plummer

Michael E. Plummer, 69, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center after battling an illness. He was born in Charleston, SC, to the late Theodore and Duane (Averill) Plummer. He relocated with his family in his youth and graduated from Longmeadow High School. He worked in various construction and management positions before joining Newell Brands for many years as Facilities Coordinator. Michael greatly enjoyed golfing, fishing, and had a lifelong love of music, including playing the guitar. He also had a keen interest in science, especially outer space. Michael leaves his daughter Nicole Plummer of Holyoke and his brother William “Chip” Plummer of North Carolina. He was predeceased by his brother Stephen Plummer. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations in Michael’s name may be made to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center via Mission Support.
