Norma B. (Walker) Woodruff, 89 died peacefully Saturday July 6th with her children by her side. Daughter of the late Randall and Grace (Keirstead) Walker of Saint John New Brunswick, Canada and predeceased by brothers Burton, Darrell, and James. Norma was a Respiratory Therapist at Noble Hospital for 28 years as well as a devoted Mother and Homemaker, raising three children. She was very committed to Westfield’s First Congregational Church, volunteering with Cancer House of Hope, chorale singing, daily walks in Stanley Park, and her family, with who she was in the care of in recent years. Predeceased by her husband Albert A. Woodruff in 2017, she leaves behind sons Eric Woodruff of Westfield, Keith Woodruff of Florence and her daughter, Erin Xenos of Jefferson, MA.; her two grandsons Shane and Trevor Xenos and her son-in-law Sean Xenos. Norma also leaves a brother Brian Walker of Rothesay, NB and Sister Marilyn Falle of Dartmouth, NS. As well as many nieces and nephews and their families. In honor of Norma’s love of reading, donations in her memory may be made to the Westfield Athenaeum 6 Elm St. Westfield, MA. 01085 Services are deferred at this time, a memorial will be held later at the First Congregational Church, Westfield.
