Partrick J Mullen

Westfield - Patrick Mullen, age 76 of Westfield, passed away at home on January 6, 2025. He was born in Springfield, May 18, 1948, the son of John Edward (Ed) Mullen and Dorothy (Young) Mullen. He attended Westfield High School, where he was a member of the golf team, graduating in 1968. After graduation, he served in the US Army, First Air Cavalry division, stationed in Vietnam.1969-1970. Pat fought bravely, and was awarded for his heroism. He was honorably discharged, with a rank of Sergeant. He leaves his wife Linda (Gardner) and their two children Jeremy Mullen (Jennifer), Tara Mullen (Jose Vaddy), and his granddaughter Lilyanna Vaddy.Pat was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John Mullen and David Mullen. He is survived by his sister Kathy (Mullen) Diemand. He also leaves in laws Nancy Ritchie, Susan Provost (Jerry), and Bobby Gardner (Annie), as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will hold a private service of the celebration of Pat’s life at Central Baptist Church, Elm St, Westfield, MA, where Pat was a member at the time of his death.
