Patricia Elzinna Preimesberger, 81 of Westfield Massachusetts passed away peacefully on May 19th surrounded by her family. Patricia was born to the late Richard and Alice (Madru) Giltrop of Westfield, Massachusetts on January 28, 1943. She spent her early years in Huntington, Massachusetts and then moved to Westfield during her middle school years, and subsequently graduated from Saint Mary’s high school class of 1961. Patricia worked as a legal secretary at the former Anderson, Beard and Burt law firm in Westfield and was a secretary at the former Digital Corporation in Westfield. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, she loved cheering for them on the sidelines for all their sporting events. She loved to sing, enjoyed going to the ocean and loved to paint and knit. She was also the go to expert family wide when came to sewing, repairing, or tailoring any clothing item at any time of the day. Patricia is survived by her son James (“Jimmy”) and his wife, Kathleen Leary of Londonderry, New Hampshire; John Leary of Westfield, and her daughter Bernadette and husband, Brent Henebry of North Granby, Connecticut. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Aislinn, Lorenzo, Jesper, Erin, Ethan, Aiden, and Andrew; her sister Dorothy and husband Jerry Wozniak of Westfield, numerous nephews, and nieces, who affectionately referred to her as Auntie Pat Pat, and too many cousins to possibly count. Patricia was proceeded by her son, Luke Leary, her brother Richard and sisters June and Ann. A private funeral Mass will be held at St Mary’s Church in Westfield on June 8th.
