Patricia Ann Skypeck (Bennett), 77, of Westfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Sunrise of Plymouth Beach Assisted Living.
Born on February 7, 1948, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, Patricia spent her childhood there before eventually settling in Westfield, where she raised her family and built a life filled with love, laughter, and deep pride in those around her.
Patricia was warm, funny, and strong. She was a woman whose presence made people feel comfortable and whose humor could light up a room. She was endlessly proud of her family and fiercely supportive of her children and their growing families.
She was the beloved wife of David Skypeck, who passed away on December 22, 2019. Together, they shared a love of the beach, faithfully celebrating their wedding anniversary every third week of July in Dennisport, Massachusetts, a tradition that meant the world to her. Patricia also cherished trips to Florida with friends, long scenic drives “with the top down” in her convertible, and quiet nights watching the Red Sox and Patriots with her husband by her side.
A proud nurse, Patricia began her career at Holyoke Hospital before stepping away to devote herself fully to raising her two sons. When her boys were older, she returned to nursing, working as an LPN at a chiropractic practice in Westfield, and also in Pediatric Dentistry in roles that allowed her to care for others in the way she did best.
She leaves behind her loving sons, Jason Skypeck and his wife Katie, and Christopher Skypeck and his wife Amanda.
Patricia was a devoted grandmother to Benjamin, Anna, William, Emma, and Jackson, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
She is also survived by her siblings David Bennett, Wayne Bennett, and Joan Bennett, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Family and friends are invited to a service in celebration of Patricia’s life on Friday, January 30th at 12-1 at Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA 01085. A private burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Westfield.
Patricia will be remembered for her warmth, her humor, her strength, and above all, her unwavering love for her family, a love that will continue to be felt every day. www.firtionadams.com
