Paul A Deslauriers, 53 passed away suddenly on December 19, 2020 in Jacksonville NC at home. He was born in Holyoke, MA on October 23, 1967 to Mary (Shea) Deslauriers and Lionel C Deslauriers and grew up in Westfield, MA. Paul attended Westfield Public schools and graduated from Westfield High in 1986. Upon graduation he immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corps spending time in Okinowa, Japan, Camp Legeune, NC and his favorite post 8th & I in Washington, DC, where he was part of the many Friday night parades. He was honorably discharged in 1991 and soon afterwards started working for the State of Connecticut Corrections, CCIE where he spent the next 19 yrs until he retired in October of 2011 due to an injury. A few years later He moved to Jacksonville, NC with his loving family to enjoy retirement. Paul was predeceased by his loving father Lionel C. Deslauriers 2006 and his brother Mark Deslauriers in 1973. Paul is survived by his best friend and loving wife Kimberly A (Limoges) Deslauriers, his daughter Bryanna M. Limoges who will always be his princess, his son Nathan M Deslauriers who was, his partner in crime and mini me, his mom Mary E (Shea) Deslauriers who he made sure was always taken care of. His loving in-laws Richard A. and Judith M. Limoges, Sister in-laws and Spouses Mary and Timothy Shea of Westfield, MA, Tina and Kirby Phannkuch of Albany, GA, Kelly and James Bordwine of Portsmouth VA and brother in-Law and wife Allen and Lara Hufford of Broken Arrow, OK. His Aunt Shirley (Deslauriers) Sawyer Chicopee, MA, his godfather and Uncle Michael Shea South Yarmouth, MA along with many cousins who were more like siblings, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Paul will be greatly missed by those family and friends he left behind especially his CCIE crew and softball buddies. Family was always important to Paul and you could always hear him say “We will get through this as a family” in tough times. Paul enjoyed many things in life like playing softball and golfing but his biggest enjoyment was being at every sporting event, and achievement in Bryanna and Nathan’s lives. Paul was so very PROUD of the fine young adults they have become and never missed a chance to tell you. Funeral Services from 9:30AM- 11AM on June 25th in Firtion Adams 76 Broad St Westfield MA, mass at 11:30 AM in St. Mary’s Church 30 Bartlett St Westfield MA and then Paul will receive full military honors at 1PM in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1390 Main St Agawam, MA.
