Paul R. Miclette Obituary

Paul R. Miclette, 86, passed away on Friday, January 03, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA with his family by his side.  A resident of Wales, MA, where he enjoyed many years in the community. He was born in Newport VT, to the late Gerard and Florence (Collins) Miclette. Paul worked as an Inspector for the state of Connecticut from where he retired with a golden handshake from the Governor. He was a veteran of the United States Airforce, serving 4 years proudly. He was also a member of the American Legion in Willimantic CT, along with the Music Union of Connecticut. Paul was a talented musician playing for many years at Lake Compounce in Bristol Ct, then joined the band Country Gold for 10 plus years. He enjoyed many trips to the Mohegan Sun Casino with his close friends. Paul had a variety of interest from music, trains, gambling, and of course fast cars. Paul was predeceased by his brother Gerard Miclette Jr and his sister Anne Green. He is survived by his brothers Ronald Lee Miclette of Maine, Robert Miclette and his wife Georgia of Connecticut, Larry Miclette and his wife Cindy of Connecticut, David Miclette and his wife Elaine of New Hampshire, along with many nieces and nephews. All services will be private, Firtion Adams Funeral Service is assisting the family at this time.
