Pauline F. (Penta) Andrade

Pauline F.  (Penta) Andrade, 93, peacefully entered into eternal rest at The Atrium in Agawam on August 3rd. She fought a long and arduous battle with Alzheimer’s.  She was born in North Providence, RI on February 7, 1929 to the late Augustine and Viola (Charbonneau) Penta. She was a graduate of University of Massachusetts and received her Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology from Springfield College. She retired from The Hampden County Employment and Training Consortium in Springfield and moved to Bradenton, Florida with her husband Tony where they spent over twenty years of enjoyment and made many new friends.

Pauline was a strong and determined woman who achieved all of the goals she set for herself regardless of the obstacles she met. She loved shuffleboard, bingo, playing cards, and the beach at Anna Maria Island. Pauline and her husband traveled extensively throughout Europe with her son and daughter-in-law. She was a sports fan and loved watching the Red Sox, New England Patriots, the UCONN Women’s basketball team, and golf.

She was predeceased by her husband Anthony G. in 2014 and her youngest son David M. in 2017.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Carol Ann Novogroski and her partner Ken Crimmins of Westfield, her sons Anthony, and his wife Carolyn of Overland Park, Kansas, Thomas and his wife Cathy of Webster, and her daughter-in-law Joan of York, South Carolina.

Pauline leaves seven grandchildren that she adored. Heather (Stephen) Mosca, South Kingstown, RI, Heidi (Brent) Clemens, Chicago, IL, Holly (Bill) Allan,  Saunderstown, RI, Anthony (Christina) Andrade, Dayville, CT, Amanda (Frank) Patrizio, Dallas, TX, Rob (Amanda) Andrade, Charlton, and Emily (Kevin) Miller, Rutland.

She also leaves eight beautiful and talented great grandchildren; Hadley and Sydney Allan, Olivia, Abigail, Taylor, Kylie, and Hayley Andrade, and Rocco Patrizio.

The family wishes to thank the outstanding staff at The Atrium at Cardinal Drive for the excellent care and kindness they provided Pauline during her residence there.
