She grew up on the family farm in Huntington and graduated Huntington High School, Class of 1952. She married Harold D. “Pep” Boisseau on May 30, 1953. Together they did garden exhibits and cooking entries together. She loved her cows, gardening and cooking, known for her delicious dinner rolls and desserts at family gatherings.
