Pauline B. (Richardson) Boisseau, 89, of Westfield died Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born January 17, 1935 in Northampton, daughter of the late Paul E. and Blanche (Merritt) Richardson. She grew up on the family farm in Huntington and graduated Huntington High School, Class of 1952. She married Harold D. “Pep” Boisseau on May 30, 1953. A farmer’s wife, Pauline worked at White’s Quaint Shop, then for John S. Lane and Sons for many years until her retirement, then became a full time farmer once again. She was a member of the Westfield Fair for many years, in charge of the kitchen, dining room and food booth with her sister-in-law Claire Clark. Together they did garden exhibits and cooking entries together. She loved her cows, gardening and cooking, known for her delicious dinner rolls and desserts at family gatherings. She was also known for taking her brandy for leg cramps. A generous, caring, loving woman, Pauline leaves her children, Irene Wolfe (Clifford) Mae Boisseau (Sean Sullivan) and Alan Boisseau (Shirley), a daughter-in-law Darlene Boisseau. She also leaves a sister Jeannette Horton and a brother Gordon Richardson, her grandchildren, Pamela, Joseph (Stacy), Justin (Tia), Michael (Bryelle) Katie and Troy Boisseau (Jen), Travis (Alyshia), Elijah (Lisa) and Gabriel (Cristina) Wolfe and her thirteen great grandchildren and many extended family members. She loved her family deeply. Pauline was predeceased by her husband Harold “Pep” Boisseau in 2007, her two sons, Harold Boisseau, Jr in 1994 and Joseph Boisseau in 2022, two grandchildren, Brandie Boisseau in 2001 and Philip Boisseau in 2021 and two brothers, Fredrick F. and Paul E. Richardson. A Funeral Home service will be held for Pauline on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 11AM in the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085, with burial in Norwich Bridge Cemetery, Huntington.
