Peter J Sanborn

Peter James Sanborn passed away Monday, November 22, 2021, after a 2-year battle with esophageal cancer. He was born on 12/14/1960 in Blue Hill, Maine at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital to Ernest Dana Sanborn and Bernice Mildred (Rich) Sanborn. Peter was an avid outdoorsman and van enthusiast. He enjoyed scuba diving, hiking, camping and "van runs". Peter worked for JP Noonan/ Delta Bulk as a truck driver for over 30 years. He is survived by his best friend and love of his life, Kelly Liptak, and her two sons, Timothy Grimaldi, and Adam Strycharz, his two sons, Zachary Sanborn and granddaughter, Payton, and Andrew Sanborn, and granddaughters, McKenzie, and Charley. Also, Peter leaves behind his brother Edward Sanborn, and sisters, Debbie and Chrissy, his childhood friend, Keith Deyo and his wife, Karen, and many nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs, Dillinger, and Patches. He is predeceased by his parents and his siblings, Dana, William, and Eleanor. Calling hours will be Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 5 pm to 6 pm at Firtion-Adams in Westfield with a celebration of life at 6 pm at Firtion-Adams Funeral Home.
