Philip T. Winterson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Philip T. Winterson on December 8th, 2024. He was born in Boston on April 15, 1939 to George and Kathryn Winterson. Phil leaves behind Barbara, his wife of 62 years, his daughter Barbara Anne and her husband Rob, his son Phil and wife Kim, his son John and partner Wendy, and his daughter Michelle. He will be greatly missed by his ten grandchildren and his great granddaughter, as well as his brother Rick and sisters Kathy and Francy.

Phil was known and admired for his abilities of leadership and management. He was a man of great faith and was active in his church Holy Family in Russell. His community was also important to him and he served on the school committee and finance committee for many years.

Phil worked for over 25 years for Berkshire Health Systems in Pittsfield. As an administrator he was in charge of maintaining its facilities and overseeing new building projects.
