Ralph R Erwin

Ralph R. Erwin, 74, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Springfield to the late Charles and Antoinette (Megliola) Erwin. Ralph was employed as a millwright for many years at Monsanto/Solutia.  He was an avid lover and collector of cars of many makes and models. In his youth, Ralph was an exceptional ping pong player winning regional and national championships. Sadly, Ralph was predeceased by a son, Matthew R. Erwin in 2010 and a brother Edward Erwin. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Luanne C. (Foley) Erwin, two sons Daniel A. Erwin and his wife Sara of Southampton and Johnathan E. Erwin of Westfield, his three cherished grandchildren, Trent, Madison and Connor, his sister Carol Dean and her husband Donald of East Longmeadow and a sister-in-law, Monica Erwin of Vernon, CT. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Home Service will be held for Ralph on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 11AM in the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southampton Rd.
