Ralph Johnson

Ralph Johnson, 67, of Westfield, passed away on January 17, 2026, after a short illness. A 1977 graduate of Westfield Vocational High School, Ralph spent many years working at Columbia Manufacturing. He was proud of his work and known for his dedication and skill. Ralph loved working with his hands, especially woodworking and furniture making. He also enjoyed fishing and tending his garden, finding happiness in simple, everyday moments. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Diane (Jaeger) Johnson; his son, Jason Johnson; his daughter, Leane Johnson, and her son, Ryder Johnson. He was predeceased by his brothers Robert Johnson Jr., Joseph Johnson, and David Johnson (DJ), and his sister Patty Gilbert. Calling hours will be held from 4:00–6:00 p.m., with a service to follow at 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Firtion Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ralph’s memory to Food for the Poor.
