Rebecca J (Wyatt) Smith, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026 at home. she was born and raised in Cheyenne, WY, to the late Albert Lee and Genevieve (Tierney) Wyatt. She married Norman H. Smith, II on Nov 22,1965 in WY and they moved to Westfield in 1970. They were both longtime communicants of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in their activities. She was involved in the Special Olympics with her granddaughter Morgan. Rebecca loved spending her summers, taking care of the grandkids at the family camp, in Litchfield, Maine. She enjoyed playing cards, reading romance novels, listening to audio books, and loved John Wayne movies. She enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Florida, River Cruise to Germany Rhine River, Budapest and Prague and a US Bus trip cross country. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Norman H Smith II on 12/24, her brother Thomas Wyatt and grandson Shaun. Rebecca leaves behind her children Norman H. Smith III and his life partner Mary Brennan, Alan Smith and his wife Ana Smith, Pamela Hitchcock and her husband Steven Hitchcock. Her grandchildren Kayla Hitchcock, Justin Hitchcock, Morgan Smith, Alec Smith, Sean and Tara Santos; and great-grandchildren Koby Coffey, Anabelle Roman, Silas Hitchcock, Mariana Roman, Emery Hitchcock and cousins. She leaves her sister Margaret Archer, half Sister Karen Mewis and husband Doug. All services will be private and at the convenience of her family.
