Regina S (Sullivan) Maynard

Regina S. Maynard passed away peacefully in a local nursing home, on September 6, 2021. She was born in Westfield on July 2nd 1919, and raised in Woronoco where she attended the local school and graduated from Westfield High School. After high school she worked for Stanley Home Products and retired from the Continuing Education Division of Westfield State University. In 1946 she married Charles J. “Red” Maynard and they enjoyed 56 years of marriage together. She was predeceased by her parents John T. and Cecilia W. Sullivan, her husband Charles Maynard, and her daughter Mary Lou Moccio. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son John “Jack” Maynard, her son-in-law James Moccio, and her grandsons Tim Moccio and his wife Erin, and Brian and his wife Sheila. She was blessed with a quick wit and a strong will to do what was right, for her family. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 AM, on Saturday September 11th at the Firtion Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad St., Westfield, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church at 10:30 am, and burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.Firtionadams.com
