Robert “Bob” E. Baker, Jr., 70, of Westfield, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Holyoke to the late Shirley (Rouillard) and Robert E. Baker, Sr., Bob was a lifelong resident of Western Massachusetts. He most recently worked in maintenance at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, where he was known for his hard work and quiet dedication. Bob had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting in Blandford and fishing in the Quabbin Reservoir and for shad in Holyoke on the Connecticut River. He found peace and joy spending time at Wells Beach and took great pride in working in his yard alongside his wife, Denise. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 52 years, Denise C. (Duval) Baker; his two loving sons, Shawn S. Baker and his wife Sylvia of Southwick, and Jason R. Baker and his wife Erica of Westfield; and his six cherished grandchildren, Michael Brown, Colton Baker, Elizabeth Baker, Malaina Baker, Caden Baker, and Bryer Baker and great grandchildren Vincenzo and Ember Brown. Bob was predeceased by his brother Michael. Bob's love for his family and the memories they created together will be forever treasured. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 6PM, visitation from the hours of 3-6 PM at Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield.
