Robert J. Frappier, 76, passed away peacefully in Baystate Noble Hospital. He was born on April 13, 1948 in Westfield to the late Lawrence R. and Hazel J. (Berchuk) Frappier. He was a graduate of Westfield High School. He was on the hockey team at the high school until a motorcycle accident left him partially paralyzed. Robert worked for Strathmore Paper Mill until its closure. He became a mechanic for Wzorek’s Corvette and Four Wheel Drive. He was an avid golfer, member of the Westfield Sportsman’s Club and enjoyed shooting black powder matches. He was a caregiver for his parents for many years. He leaves behind his older brother Raymond Frappier and his younger sister Barbara Soto. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. The calling hours for Robert will be on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 4-7PM in Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. The funeral be on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 10AM in Firtion-Adams. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Westfield. www.firtionadams.com
