Robert J Gordon

Robert J. Gordon, 66, passed away on March 18, 2026 in Florida. He was born in Holyoke, MA to the late Roger and Ruth (Getto) Gordon. Bobby worked as a schoolteacher for the City of Springfield School system for many years. After retirement he enjoyed “snowbirding” in Florida and planned to move down there permanently. He loved to travel and antiques. Sadly, Bobby was predeceased by his parents, two brothers Roger and Richard and a sister Debora Gordon, all of Chicopee. He leaves a sister Sue Hempel and her husband Ed of Westfield, two nephews, William Henry Batchelor and his wife Tania and Andrew McCorkindale, a niece Krystal Hempel and his grandnephew William Batchelor IV. Visiting hours will be Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 12-2PM followed by a Funeral Home Service at 2PM in Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085.
