Roland Boissonault, 90, of Westfield, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 29, 2025.
He was born in New Haven, Connecticut, to the late Laval and Albia (Gagne) Boissonault, and was raised in Agawam and West Springfield. Roland attended Agawam High School and Springfield Trade School.
A hardworking man all his life, Roland proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Following his military service, he built a long career in trucking. He owned and operated B&B Trucking for many years until 2000 and later worked as a truck driver for Scarfo Construction.
Roland enjoyed hunting and fishing, pursuits that brought him great enjoyment throughout his life.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Ethel Boissonault; his second wife, Judy Boissonault; his son, Roland Boissonault, Jr.; and his sisters, Irene Scarfo and Joyce Cavallon.
He is survived by his sons, Joseph Boissonault of Arizona and Robert Boissonault of Westfield; his daughter, Lynne Tremblay of Westfield; and his three grandchildren, Ian, Adam, and Lily.
A funeral service will be held on January 15th at 12:00 noon at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, West Springfield.
