Westfield-Ronald J. Blais, 89, died Wednesday, June 26, 2024 in a local nursing home. He was born on February 27, 1935 to the late David and Florence (Minney) Blais. He grew up in Springfield and was a graduate of Springfield Trade School. He was employed at National Gauge as a toolmaker and was the owner of Davron Manufacturing Co. in Palmer. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was pre-deceased by his wife Carol A (Smith) Blais in 2003. He leaves his son Michael C. Blais and his wife Margaret of Easthampton. He also leaves his siblings Joseph Blais of Westfield, David Blais of Portland, ME, Nancy Dupuis of Springfield, and Susan Glusko of Springfield. He was pre-deceased by his sisters Elizabeth Blais and Lois Browning. The funeral and burial were private.
