Rosalie West, 85, a lifelong resident of Westfield, passed away peacefully on August 2nd, 2024 at a local nursing home after spending time surrounded by her loving family. Our beautiful Rosalie, also known as Lee or Nan, was born on June 20th, 1939 to the late John and Mary (Delmedico) Camerota in Westfield MA. She was a 1957 graduate of Westfield High School. She started her work life at the iconic Strand Theatre in Westfield alongside her two sisters, then worked for Sears and Roebucks for 30 years, followed by 15 years at Old Colony Envelope in Westfield. Rosalie enjoyed many interests including reading, card games, walks at the mall, the Christmas season, westerns and, most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Rosalie leaves behind her beloved husband of 42 years, Raymond E West, her daughter Lisa Mederios of Westfield, son Randolph Hildack (Cathleen) of Westfield, stepson Raymond West (Brenda) of Westfield, stepdaughter Marilyn West-Hovesepian (Greg) of Trinty, Florida, stepdaughter Robin West of Casa Grande, Arizonia, siblings Patricia Phillips, Michael Camerota (Diane) and John Camerota (Gwen) all of Westfield. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Tahnee Hildack, Tyler Hildack (Keira), Taylor Hildack (Connor), Brie Futrell (Madison), and Greg Hovsepian, along with many nieces and nephews, in-laws and dear friends. And the apple of her eye, great grandson Anderson. She was pre-deceased by her stepson Kenneth West, grandson Zach Hovsepian, her sister & brother-in-law Virginia & Donald Baillargeon & brother-in-law Jim Philips. Calling hours for Rosalie will be held on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 from 4-7PM at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield MA. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024 at 10AM at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, 127 Holyoke Rd, Westfield MA. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Westfield MA.
