Born on October 25, 1935, in Westfield, MA, Ross was the cherished son of Frederick and Hazel Rogers. Ross lived a life full of love, kindness, and dedication. He shared a remarkable 73 years of marriage with his devoted wife, Theresa. Together, they built a family filled with love and laughter, raising five children: Jeff and his wife Diane, Darlene and her husband Gary, Mark and his wife Mary Ellen, Craig and his wife Valarie, and their cherished daughter-in-law Cheryl. Ross was predeceased by his son Brian, whose memory he held close to his heart. His legacy continues through his nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren, who were his pride and joy. A dedicated worker, Ross spent 41 years as a paper machine operator at the Westfield River Paper Company. His strong work ethic and commitment to his craft were matched only by his devotion to his family. Known for his big heart and kind words, Ross was the go-to person for family members in times of need, a testament to his generosity and warmth. Ross was a passionate Red Sox fan, and one of his most cherished memories was watching his beloved team win the World Series with his son Brian by his side. He had a deep love for country music, particularly enjoying the tunes of Alan Jackson. Ross also found joy in playing cards with his family, especially enjoying competitive games of pitch.
