Ruth M (Clark) Tinker, 88 of Westfield, MA passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6th at home with family at her bedside.  A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, beloved sister, aunt, faithful friend, and woman of deep faith.

Throughout her life, nothing was more important to her than her family. She found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved and creating lasting memories with them. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support were gifts she shared freely, touching the lives of all who knew her.

A devoted wife and partner, she built a life centered on love, faith, and family. As a mother to her two children, she provided guidance, encouragement, and unconditional love. She took immense pride in her three grandchildren and treasured every moment spent with them. Her family was the center of her world, and her love for them will remain a lasting legacy.

Ruth enjoyed life's simple pleasures and the happiness they brought to those around her. She loved camping and spending time outdoors with family and friends, creating memories around campfires and on family adventures. She enjoyed candelin bowling, where her competitive spirit and sense of fun shined through, and she found joy and creativity in ceramics, crafting pieces that reflected her artistic nature and patience.  She loved music and dancing, she spent her younger years attending many Polka dances where she met the love of her life; Harry J. Tinker.

She dedicated many years of service as a bookkeeper for Agway, where she was respected for her strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Her commitment to her work was matched by her commitment to her community and faith.

A lifelong and devoted Catholic, she was a faithful member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Her faith guided her throughout her life and provided strength, comfort, and purpose. She lived her beliefs through acts of kindness, compassion, and service to others.

She will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, infectious smile, and the love she shared so generously. While her passing leaves a void that can never be filled, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.

Ruth is predeceased by her loving husband Harry (Jack) Tinker, her parents William and Joan Clark of Springfield and her two brothers William Clark and Robert Clark both of Feeding Hills. Ruth leaves behind her two children James Tinker of Westfield and Mary Blair and her husband Alan Blair of Westfield, her three cherished grandchildren; Jonathan Blair and Noah Blair of Southwick, Adam Blair of Longs, SC, her sister Joan Fydenkevez of West Springfield, and brother Chester Clark and his wife Debbie of Agawam, and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. 

May she rest in God's eternal peace, reunited with those who have gone before her and forever held in the hearts of those who love her. The funeral for Ruth will begin on Thursday, June 11th at 9 AM at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Her funeral mass will follow at 10 AM at Our Lady of The Blessed Sacrament Church, Holyoke Rd., Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 10th from 4-7 PM in Firtion-Adams Funeral Service.
