Sal Sajewicz

Westfield-Sal Sajewicz of Westfield passed away on May 1st at Holyoke Medical Center. Sal is survived by his wife Anna Sajewicz, his sister Danuta Backstrom and her husband Thomas of Spencerport NY, his son and daughter Michael and Sylvanna, his family friend Richard Foster and his two grandchildren Oren and Kyra. An unsung hero, mentor and humble individual, Sal devoted his life to his family, friends and customers. He touched countless lives in ways that cannot be expressed and will be forever missed. A private burial will take place at 11 am on May 13th at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sal’s name to local businesses or animal shelters.
