Sandra E. Collins

Sandra E. Collins, 76, of Westfield, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 9, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family.

Born in West Springfield, MA, on November 12, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Harold C. and Greta (Joslyn) Collins. Sandra graduated from West Springfield High School and was a proud member of the Westfield and West Springfield Elks for many years.

Sandra is survived by her devoted husband, Kenneth Premny; her daughter, Lisa M. Johnson, and her husband, Jeffery; and her son, Christopher M. Sullivan, and his wife, Jennifer. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Alex Johnson and Conor M. Sullivan. She also leaves her great-granddaughter Arianna Bixby. Sandra was predeceased by her beloved granddaughter, Kristin Bixby.

She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Sandra had many longtime friends who stood by her throughout her journey, and her family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to all who visited, offered support, and helped care for her at home. A special thank-you is extended to her children, Lisa and Chris, for their unwavering love and dedication, and to the staff at the Sister Caritas Cancer Center for their compassionate care.

The funeral for Sandra will be held on Saturday, November 15, at 11:30 AM at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Westfield. Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 to 11:30 AM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandra’s memory may be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation and Sr. Caritas Cancer Center.
