Sandra A (Mitchell) Matyseck

Westfield - Sandra A (Mitchell) Matyseck, 82, died Saturday, December 21, 2024 in a local nursing home. She was a lifelong resident and was a graduate of Westfield High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed staying home raising her children. She was an avid Yankees fan and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband Robert E. Matyseck in 2019. She leaves her sons Robert Matyseck Jr. of Orlando, FL and William Matyseck of Westfield, and her daughter Patricia LaPointe of Westfield, her grandchildren Michael and Zachary LaPointe of Holyoke and Brandon LaPointe of Westfield and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother Francis Mitchell. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 29 from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield from 1-4 pm. The funeral will be held on Monday in St. John’s Lutheran Church, 60 Broad Street. Visitation at church will be from 10 am till 11 am. Funeral Service will follow at 11 am.
