Sandra E. (Switzer) Noe

It is with great sadness that we announce that Sandra Elizabeth Noe (née Switzer) died peacefully on September 27, 2024 in her home surrounded by her family.

Sandra was born on June 13, 1941 the third child and only daughter of Helen and Renton Switzer. She was a lifelong resident of Russell Massachusetts, graduating from Huntington High School and marrying Howard Robert Noe on November 11, 1961.

Sandra was the quintessential mother and wife. After raising her own children, she longed to hold babies again and cared for numerous foster children. She lived her life with a deep faith in God and commitment to family and lifelong friends. She had a great sense of adventure and loved travel, square dancing, rollercoasters, mystery dinners, nights out with her girls, a good game of cards, and all things Christmas. She will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her for the steadfast love she gave to everyone.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of nearly 63 years, Howard; her children Cherie Noe, Howard Noe, Kevin Noe,Aimee Goguen, Sean Noe, and Michelle Albitz; son-in-law David Hudacek, sisters-in-law Tina (Smith) Noe and Danielle(Welner) Noe; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; her brothers Robert Switzer, John Switzer, Raymond Switzer, and William Ferreira; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visiting hours will be held at Firtion-Adams Funeral Home 76 Broad Street, Westfield MA from 9am- 11am on Saturday, October 5, 2024, followed by a funeral service at 11am and graveside committal at Russell Cemetery.
