Scott L. Williams

Scott L. Williams, 59, passed away on August 12, 2023 after a long illness with Primary Progressive Aphasia.  Scott was employed as a financial analyst with the US Government Department of Transportation.  Staff Sergeant Scott Williams was a member of the Maryland National Guard for 12 years during which time he served two tours in Qatar.  Scott graduated from Northfield Mount Herman School and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from USC as well as a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore.  Scott is pre-deceased by his wife, Michelle Williams, who passed in 2021.  Scott leaves his sister Holly Turner and her husband Vail Turner of Southwick, MA and sister Cheryl Sterner and her husband Phil Sterner of Tennessee as well as brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Eric and LeAnn Matiskella.  Scott leaves nieces Vanessa, Lydia, Ashley and Stacy and nephews Ryan, Jared and Noel.  Scott loved to camp, hike, ski and horse and bike ride.  A true outdoorsman, Scott enjoyed hiking with his beloved dogs, Cesar and Macy. A memorial service for Scott will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 1PM in Firtion- Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St., Westfield.
